Obituary of Evelyn Peunish

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Evelyn Peunish (born Saganaquib) at the age of 90, on March 4th, 2021, at the Foyer des Pionniers Nursing Home in Hearst. She is survived by her 7 children: Mary Ineese (Jonathan) from Constance Lake, Juliette Wesley (Allan) from Constance Lake, Victoria Peunish (Eugene Desmoulin) from Pic Mobert, Beulah Peunish from North-Bay, Jocelyn Peunish from Constance Lake, Monica John-George (Joey) from Constance Lake and  Agnes Ferris from Timmins; as well as 32 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her husband: Donald Peunish, her parents: John and Emily Saganaquib and along with her siblings. 

Born on December 25th, 1930 in English River, she was a caring stay at home mother and wife.  Evelyn enjoyed the outdoors with her late husband and also loved to sew, bead, knit, play bingo and spend time with her family and friends. She was a loyal member of the church where she worked and devoted her life to it.

Nous avons le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Mme Evelyn Peunish (née Saganaquib) à l'âge de 90 ans, le 4 mars 2021, au Foyer des Pionniers à Hearst. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses 7 enfants: Mary Ineese (Jonathan) de Constance Lake, Juliette Wesley (Allan) de Constance Lake, Victoria Peunish (Eugene Desmoulin) de Pic Mobert, Beulah Peunish de North-Bay, Jocelyn Peunish de Constance Lake, Monica John-George (Joey) de Constance Lake et  Agnes Ferris de Timmins; ainsi que 32 petits-enfants et 73 arrière-petits-enfants et 1 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants.

Elle a été précédée dans la mort par son mari: Donald Peunish, ses parents: John et Emily Saganaquib et ses frères et sœurs.

Née le 25 décembre 1930 à English River, elle était une mère et une épouse bienveillantes au foyer. Evelyn aimait le plein air avec son défunt mari et aimait aussi coudre, perler, tricoter, jouer au bingo et passer du temps avec sa famille et ses amis. Elle était un membre fidèle de l'église où elle travaillait et y consacrait sa vie.
